I see the world through rock and roll colored glasses. So when I hear bluegrass music, country music, or jazz music, I listen for the timing, attack, and feel of rock and roll music.
When I play rock and roll music, I look back to the Who, Bob Dylan, the Kinks, the Stones, ZZ Top, the Beatles who covered Chuck Berry, Zepplin.
That's where we're coming from.
